National Canoe Competition

Just three days back, we had our first offical race at the National Canoe Competition (NCC). Our four beloved canoeist showed their mettle, despite the lack of sufficient training. Armed only with sheer experience, Junsheng managed to clinched 15th in the 1000m race while Nizam and Junsheng paired up and came in 5th for the guys 250m race. Our dear Pamela and Sarah came in 4th of the girls 250m race. Though nothing fantastic (yet), it's substantial and I'm proud of you guys. Given that we're still in the nascant stage after the break from the Seasports Club, there's still lots of logistic to settle. But hey, at the rate which we're going, I'm confident that we'll continue to progress and breakthrough! We have already gotten our first Gold Medal at the NCM!
