RUKR: ROUND UBIN KAYAKING RACE 2008

Dearest SIMCanoeists,

We will be having our long anticipated race this coming Sunday at Pulau Ubin!! Those who are taking part having been training really hard (quiet hard la.. LOL) for the race amidst the exams that coincides with the training as well as the upcoming race itself.

When:Sunday, 9 th Nov 2008, Start Time: 8.00am (FlagOff) from Pasir Ris

For approximately 22km, the competitors will be pitting their paddling skills and race strategies against each other from bustling Pasir Ris Beachto around the choppy seas encircling Pulau Ubin.

SIMCanoeists tentatively taking part (unless due to unforseen circumstances) in the Race are:

Jun Sheng (T1 Senior Men)
Lex (T1 Senior Men)
Nizam (T1 Senior Men)
Kenneth (T1 Senior Men)
Sarah (T1 Women)
Clarence and Vincent (T2 Mens)
Pei Yu and Jason (T2 mixed)

Those who are able to come down, do lend us your support!! Please coordinate amongst yourselves cause we wont be around to gather everyone. Haha.
