Hi Juniors! Here are some of the things you need to know about canoeing.

Canoeing requires:
-passion, consistency, smart and hard work.
-reflectivity, tolerance and endurance
-fitness (eg. guys: no problems doing 20pull ups in a go & running 2.4km under 10mins and 12mins for girls)

Canoeists:
-trust their own abilities and constantly challenge themselves
-are not afraid of trying things they haven't tried before
-visualise, analyse and share techniques with fellow canoeists
-paddle at least 3 times a week(1hr/session is good enough) apart from the land trainings

seriously, you can't be called a canoeist if you paddle only once a week, the same way, i am not considered a swimmer if i only swim once a week.

The main difference about canoeing is that, it is a team sport made up of strong-minded individuals who are constantly trying to be better than each other. To do well, your energy and willingness have to stem from yourselves as individuals. Because of this constant willingness to be better than each other, an individual's strengths will be a motivation to make us all want to be better than him/her and with this, we as a team will improve together.

So juniors, a month is almost up.
It's gonna be time to decide if this sport is really for you.
If it is not, no obligations, we are all adults, we will respect your decisions!
If it is, let us get out there, train hard together and WIN!
