Swim Test

This is basically for those who just joined us, joined but yet to take the test or failed.
Its basically a requirement to pass this test especially for water sports in SIM.

Tentatively it will be on 27 September, 6pm at Clementi Swimming Complex. If you can't make it on that day and time, please let me know and I will arrange another day for you.

You will be accessed on the following,
a. 50m swim of any recognised stroke: ability to maneuver a minimum distance
b. Tread water for 3 minutes: ability to keep head above water
c. Drown proof for 1 minute: ability to stay float with minimal effort and instilling water confidence

If you are unable to clear, you might have to take up swimming lessons by SIM swimming and lifesaving.

You will be exempted if you have the following,
1. National Survival Swimming Awards (Bronze)
2. Lifesaving Certification from Lifesaving Society
3. Swimsafer (Silver)

Those who are exempted, please pass your photocopied certificate to either Collin, Tiffany or me during training asap and must be before the test date.
